you will not prevent me from growing;

you were beautiful at first,
you had so much potential,
i had so much hope,
english ivy,
until you started to suffocate my walls
but i was to blinded by the beauty of your green leaves
i let it get out of control

once you had been removed,
i finally noticed the cracks in my walls,
how battered i had been left

i am a garden
i need to grow
so im pulling out the vines and weeds,
setting new rules,
planting new seeds
