The teardrops that fall,
Like ink from your eyes,
Etch indelible words on this heart;
In your fountain they mingle,
With words from your lips,
As an “I love you” softly spills out.
Cool, water-filled pools,
Carved deep into stone,
With the force of a waterfall;
Forgiveness restores,
As on hot coals it is poured,
Who knew tears were so powerful.
Here the soft, soothing sand,
Entices our bodies to dance,
You melt the heart of this warrior.
