The feelings in my heart
Were befogged
When I thought about
The path I was on
Would guide me to your love
But being stranded far off
From my homeland
Abstracted, flabbergasted
As I searched for you
In the louring landscape

I needed your affection
Your captivating caresses
But all I found was myself
Trapped in torrential rain
Staring up at the slatey sky
Wondering where you where
Wondering if our feelings
Were intermutual
If it was two-dimensional
If you had left me here
Without saying goodbye
Leaving me to hearken back
To the last time we were together
