Why have I been led
in continuous circles
by a master of pretense

fancy words
with hidden meanings
known only to the creator

what will be the
circumference of this circle
before an honest answer is given

these seem to be simple questions
but asked before
they have fallen on deaf ears

there are many ways
to reveal kindness
and as many others
to show an absence
of passion or compassion
