She’s my best friend’s girl
She used to be mine
Til he stole her from me
With her help, making time
Such sadness
I’m the last to know
They’re out tonight
Getting a glow
Me, I’m nearly crying
Wishing it wasn’t so
I want her back
But no, no, no
He’s got her
I’ve got alone
I didn’t see the signs
I should have known
Now I’ve also lost my best friend and my girl
A disaster full blown
I’ll get over this
So I tell myself
But I don’t believe it
No one can help
I’ve lost my way
So torn inside
If I see them together
I’ll just hide
Apologies to The Cars
