Shielded in endless strength
Supreme, iridescent wings
Vibrant, elevated dreams
Streaming in the breeze
Feeling a greater purpose
That awaits me

I release myself from all
That tried to conquer me
Incarcerate me in prison
Where the freezing temperature
Had me on a borderline breakdown

They tremendously tortured me
Drove me to ceaseless misery
My mind traumatized, crackbrained
Drained, stained, mystified
Suicidal thoughts crossing my mind
With no time left to consider
What was right or wrong

I didn’t believe I would
Ever break away from
This hauntingly shadowed state
But when my enemies believed
They had defeated me
I rose and shone from the ashes
Like the mythical, magical phoenix
To regain possession of my power
And prevail over my adversaries

I was infinite, independent, and intelligent
Extremely bursting with verve
An unrestrainable lionized phoenix
Gleaming intensely, filled with a superfluity
Of veracity, a savage side inside of me
Regulating every spectacular space I met
