I twitch in the middle of the night
And it feels like the love is trying to
tear through me
Right underneath my skin
Is a raging river
Flooding up my insides with
you
The stars were twinkling in the sky
As bright as your eyes were
When I first unbuttoned your blouse
And they haven't stopped yet,
No, they're still piercing through me
Like two supernovas-

I caused it

I was the catastrophe that made them

You told me that if I knew my directions
I could find the key to your heart
So I searched through the rubble
Of all of the dead end lovers that had come before
And the only place that I forgot to check
Was right *between your fingers
