Poems
Jul 2021
if life was an etch-a-sketch
if life was an etch-a-sketch*
but it is not,
the past may not,
be erased with a flick of
a supple wrist-
no,the thin grey line is
unmistakable and
indelible
on us and we can fiddle
with circles
peer into cracks
smash it against a
post..
(play another game)
to no avail
let others take the
blame..
no,no..
score a goal
look to the moon
no..
(write a poem..etc..)
*inspired by the first line of a randolph l. wilson poem..
