I watch and wait by your side
as midnight will soon be here
the moon is at it's swollen peak
shining kindly on where you lay

The wind seems to anticipate
the awakening of my love
with the rustling of leaves
which call upon the chapel bell

On the first chime
the soil starts to bulge
on the second
your pale white hands appear
on the third
I grasp them, pulling gently

As the twelfth chimes echo's farewell
there you stand adorned in black and pale
I touch your cheek as cold as well water
knowing you are now one of nights daughters

You turn and kiss my palm resting your sweet head
then your lips meet my wrist until you have fed
I am her sustenance now, her nightly bread
she's the love of my life, my girlfriend undead.
