Time of the night
Extending till daylight
Still of the night
Not on the mind

Eyelids closing for a duration
Winking the only reason
Eyes closed for sleep
Not able to recall from memory

A matter of discipline
The body shuts down within
By nature's law it should happen
If not what is the reason

Alertness in  thinking
The thoughts keep pouring
The mind keeps seeking
Source of the thought processing

Source of the thought
Kills the very thought
Wired and wrought
No answers breaking this law

A doctor's advice
Sought to revice
Is there any device
To bring rest and peace

Willing to pay
The price if any
Life led with harmony
Sleep and night in Symphony

Watching or browsing
Listening or reading
None of the above happening
Full throttle mind a weird feeling

Deprived of anything
Not a good feeling
Questioning the feeling
Self transcending thinking

Day  and night
Only by sight
Blurred insight
Awake all night

Not a clue
On what to do
