‘I do’,
too small words
but hold the length of life
with her hands in mine
walk in rain sunshine
her heart in my care
she left in joyous trust
in all weather always there
on her side I remain must
have her forever in my sight
each passing day and night
love standing on two pillars true,
said years ago and still ‘I do’.
