Geese
True friendship takes us
by the hand
and shows us
we are not alone
on the front lawn
in tandem
they do a loose-jointed
shuffle
I never wanted anything
more in life
except to be your
everything
perched on a roof
with eyes a google
they honk
like feathered *******
remember the joy
forget all the pain
and the tears and sadness
will wash themselves away
a steady stream
from a thick rubber hose
is all it takes to blast
those geese droppings
from the dock
