Got to be
A better way
I hardly said
A word today
But nothing’s wrong
Just incomplete
Whole part of me
Is missing
Speak
About it
Doesn’t end the issue
Doesn’t stay
How much I miss you
From advancing
To the fore
Front of my mind
And waging war
Upon the never quite
At peace
Entirely
Until released
From manacles
Of memory’s
Mechanical
Sincerity
The artificial verity
I barely could contain
With or without you
Doesn’t matter
Dying all the same
