My first memory
has set my life course
Great Grandpa down the hall
whistling
and Great Grandma
speaking to a ghost,
making a charm to keep me safe,
but to this day I feel
presences flitting here and there
I can't tell if I'm mentally ill
or if I really sense spirits
drifting through the air...
