The Game Of Marco Polo
This game of Marco Polo
you mimic without shame
a wild one you are truly
your love, I can never tame
You lead me up the garden path
like a teddy bear to a picnic
you crush my heart like seashells
in Mary's garden, hiding in the thicket
I am blue now, and never blow my horn
thinking still, of my love for you
I wish that I had never been born
after the fairy stories you told me
I am now just a thread bitten doll
a puppet with nothing to do
and wonder where Andy Pandy is this evening
maybe, behind the bike shed with Louby Lou
