There was you and there was me,
Living our lives much differently,
But we came together and we grew,
You and I became us who knew.

You opened my mind and door to my heart,
A love we found in a time we missed,
But as life would have it we did part,
This heart still yearns your kiss.

Hope that you're good my best regards,
A love a friendship forgetting would be hard,
