'Shahan Shah', King of kings,
lifts you far, on wing of wings,
to elixir of life, you, He brings,
purest water, eternal springs

if you serve your own desire,
then thorns, nettles, and the briar
grasp your legs from rising higher,
trip you as a tripping wire

trip the unwary into mire
sinking quag, danger dire
of seven sins' searing fire
searing spirit on its pyre

but if you should choose to serve
'Shahan Shah', the King of kings,
His Grace and Favour you'll observe,
with joy and jubilance that it brings

for the servant of king is master
of all that that king ruleth over,
avoiding pitfall and disaster,
devil's grasp and his trover
