May 2021
The winds of May blows chills in sway
and voices talk of choices to be made
who sits as Mayor and who is to be trade

the summer skies disowns a red moon
time to blow away errant blood at high noon
no more hate and crimes in cities by loons and goons

mothers loose sons in senseless knifing
corrupted minds shaped in puerile envying
to want what we have without working and earning

eat the rich spits the mantra of mindless reds
hate success and ***** the sensibilities of blues
stay in the ghettos and war each other for your few

take hearts and minds for the poisoned banquets
feed them ugly promises and lies to lay them in caskets
**** truths and cover honest endeavours in smeared blankets

The winds of sixth of May bows chills in sway
throw out corruption crimes knifing and fantasists in gainsay
the hornets nest of liars bullies haters and dividers have had its day
