Just Like Rain

Just like rain it did fall
people were crying in the street
the old were becoming young again
and love did fill the air

Babies gargled with contentment
all did throw down their weapons
many had tears in their eyes
just like rain

I watched from a distance
mankind holding hands
I cried with joy
tears streaming down my eyes

I called my army to leave this place
for at last mankind had found peace
we had bled many years for this day
just like rain
