The śiṣya woman said
you need to grow in the right environment
it frees your mind to think
and I remember how my father worked all his life
to feed house guide and loved his family
how he was never indulgent in anything wrong or unjust
how he never disappoint and was always polite, kind and helpful
and how in his ways we found security and safety
we in his light freed our minds to think
and we all thought
this was a man we want to be like
a man we want to make proud of us
a man that deserves to have worthy capable children
he did not hold us to ransom
he mere helped free our minds
to think
so in thinking I learnt not to expect others to think like me
for not everybody have freed minds
nor the right environment to grow and free their minds
a lot of people are incapable of thinking
that is so obvious
