Overwhelmed
11 April 2021

And now I find I am overwhelmed by you,
Your youth, your beauty, your life before me.
Outside my class he said, while you lay in my bed.
I crave your arms, your grace, your quiet,
And fear my times alone, when your mind and care,
Seem to be in another place.
How do you have such power as you smile?
How do you know a man so well?
