Your mum and I met at a party night,
It was love at first sight.
We wanted to marry,
So we did not tarry,
It seemed we were blessed,
With God's Grace,
Life was wonderful,
Our marriage blissful.
Soon we had you my son,
It was like being in heaven.
Then one day her best friend came into our life,
With her she brought strife.
Suddenly your mother changed,
Always in aΒ Β rage,
She wanted more from life,
To be less a wife.
A storm in a teacup,
Mounted to toxic flare ups.
She wanted more and more,
Her demands I started to abhor ,
Eventually we ended up with a divorce,
I got to keep you of course.
Now that you're grown up and on your own,
I want you to know son,
Kind and loving was your mum,
Only she got into her mind her friend's venom,
She misses you,
I have given her your number,
Please talk to her.
