Jul 2013
to love, to hate
to have, to lose
a twist of fate
the chance so blue
and I had you

The shine so bright
and the drama of the night
How we argue and fight
Flaunting each other's might
Talking and trying to be right
it is a ring filled with ***** of flames

I touch and love you
you go the other way looking for another to rub you
perhaps secure you with money and lies
beautiful lies, lilies and sparks
And I am unjust to speak the truth
Cold for being myself
-Unappreciated- I'd rather be by myself

and you're hesitant to give me meaning
and you are reluctant to make me feel worthy
for your ego gets in the way of your judgment
you become political and refuse to give me "power"

unaware that the only power is the bond that we share...
Which has those longing for love stare
and the brave care to dare

So you make me feel helpless
that you are wanted by others and that they are better
that they can have you and I will be left with "I" the letter

If only you knew how your smile threw me
made me feel like love is all there is
and that beauty is,
and not a programmed picture caused by a chemical reaction -
Inspired by soul and mind interaction,
if only we could connect like that
away with adultery, I'd rid that hat
... But you choose others over me
keep me waiting, uncertain and wondering
I am an ice block burning in a hot ***
and the cook has intense energies
he could let me burn to vapour
please save me and no more "call you later"
without you I'd be a lonely ellipsis, only a full stop
But you take me for granted, so leaving you is my best shot.
