Jul 2013
sometimes
i think of you
as the seasons;

you make my summer
warm and sweet,

and my winters
brisk and stiff
yet, delicate
and different
like a snowflake

in spring,
our relationship blossoms
like the loveliest garden,

but in autumn
like the leaves,
we seem to break
no harder than glass
dropped to the ground
