She looks a lot like her
Big blue eyes
And auburn hair
The perfect size
But she’s not her
And will never be
So I do surmise
The issue is moving on
From what you can’t forget
You take it day by day
Hope for the very best

If you really want to know
I’ll tell it to you straight
I thought we were in love
Until my heart did break
I gave her all I had
And then some even more
I was so very sure
I think I’ve found someone new
But she looks a lot like her

I should be moving forward
Instead of looking back
What can you do when all you do
Is think about the past?
What should be ancient history
Swims inside my head
I’m running from a bad dream
That’s why I hate to go to bed

She looks a lot like her
I guess I’m going to try
There’s only one way out of here
Otherwise I’ll just cry
She looks a lot like her
I guess she always will
But maybe she’s the one for me
With those looks that ****
