Not looking
To hit it big
Get rich quick scheme
Or to chase
Unattainable,
Puerile dreams
I’m not prospecting gold
Or a silicon monger
I just want my own
Little slice
Of less hunger
Plucked from paradise
An adventure or two
If it’s not too much trouble
Determine my place
And embrace what the struggle
Assuredly takes
Me off in the direction
That leads me to former lives
Formal defection
