One day I’ll come home from work
Exhausted from the daily grind,
And you’ll be there.

Your smile will rejuvenate me.

One evening we’ll be sitting on the couch
Watching a movie
We’ll be all comfy and warm.

You’re company will complete me.

And one morning I will wake up
Rested from my slumber.
And as I open my eyes,
There you are.

Your presence will make me the happiest man alive.

I don’t know where you are now,
But I do know you’re out there somewhere,
And you’re getting here as fast as you can.

I long for the day that you arrive.
