I love Lockdown more than you'd think
there's no speech bubbles we morse in blink

There's no French kissing no flossing of teeth
we're metres apart when we meet to greet

No beggars or neighbours or no busking sounds
no dogs running wild they are all in the pounds

No more bumpers on the pedestrian crossing
we're all playing dodgems to avoid the jostling

There's no women with prams in idle talks
in supermarket aisles blocking the walks

There's no late night drinking or pools of *****
but the crows will miss that they are always on it

There is no bad breath or pungent B.O.
we are too far apart for anyone to know.

I love Lockdown more than you'd think
I spend most of my time with pen and ink

I sincerely hope it is never going to end
far less pollution the world's on the mend

Covid is karma and it is not all that bad
these are the best times I've ever had.
