I never thought I’d fall in love with you,
spending the summer days wondering
what you were up to, how I could get
with you, let you know how much you
enraptured me, how your voice was so
luscious to listen to.  I treasured
the shape of your charcoal eyes,
your inklike eyebrows, your dark hair,
your glowing gold grill, feeling you
so much, your pulchritude so moving,
welling up in me, anxiously wanting
to lay up with you and watch the incredibly
brilliant sunset in the extensive blue sky,
the red birds flying out of sight, my mind
solely on you, so blessed to be with you.
