Tarnish
Shining white stars tumble down
softly unseated with a whispered hiss
Below fractured lines smeared in red
Pied piper dancing toward the abyss
All this has come to pass before
In other not so distant lands
The mirror darkly distorting truth
and hate with glory rebrands
