If my arms, not warm enough to hold you?
Then I'm not deserving of you.

If my lips not tender enough for yours?
Then I must find more affection for yours.

If my eyes don't show my admiration for you?
Then soon they will because I do love you.

Too much effort was placed into attracting you to me.
So it's only fair to go out of my way to keep you loving me.

If my heart doesn't pump more at the mentioning of your name?
Then I guess I am just someone simply calling out your name.

If you don't see everything I have done for you?
Then I'm not doing enough and must do more.

So I can stop talking about these ifs.
For there are too many.
