Dec 2020
Radiating through my bones
Pressure gradually begins building
As though my chest may implode
Face buried, my hands to shoulders cling

The warmth around me is not enough
To fill this chasm that has torn me up
A flame grown too great to *****
With a well intentioned hug

Tears run rampant and will not cease
The hollowness deep rooted in my soul
Spreading slowly, all consuming like disease
On my mind and body it takes its toll

Digging hooks into my chest
And will not let me go
An unwelcome guest
Drags me below
Wip
