I wait by the graveside
as the chapel bells chime midnight
the soil starts to heave
a slender hand pushes through the soil
I sit there with hands clasped
burning the midnight oil

Here she comes, my love my love
I kneel by her grave
as her other hand appears from the ground
I grab both and pull her from the grave mound
oh sweet glory be
to have my girlfriend come back to me

I kiss her lips so cold
stroke the soil out of her hair
I am as happy as can be
the spell I did cast has worked for me
now death for love did end
for now, I have back my undead girlfriend
