Some of us have been broken-hearted
some have loved ones departed
some have a drug addiction
others are with alcolal related problems

Most of us are well messed up
I do know a few that are not
but they are twenty percent of the lot
most are really emotionally messed up

If poets are likened to me
you write when you want to
and no *******
should tell you what to do

Freedom of speech
that's gone out of the window
you have to be careful what you preach
or be a broken window

Oh the wonder of words
this child that deserves
such attention
that words do reserve

God it has happened to me
don't say all that you feel
because the world has changed
and nothing is fake and not real
