Snow that falls so nice
Be happy being the advice
The senses of sugar and spice
Candy Canes that hang and dazzle my Christmas tree
Joy to the world that reminds me
Assorted Christmas Candy in my dish
A skies star with me making a wish
Eggnog how fitting for this occasion
Yet non-alcoholic you know
I don’t want to cause an unexpected show
Kid’s hearts are rejoicing
Their voices so enriching
So all through the house
There was no trace of my spouse
Let’s forget any mouse
My spouse went gift shopping being her galore
She is not alone as she is with her friend named Eleanor
So since I have my spouse’s gift
I will hide it and do you catch my drift?
It will be a surprise come Christmas morning
But God’s willing to see another day
Being thankful in every way
So Christmas night being joy in sight
Laughter and carols being bright
With that thought, I will say Good Night
