You have come along way on this wild ride.
There were so many days that you could’ve given up,
but you hung in there and kept going.
You were a young boy exploring life and didn’t
know where you were going.
You were searching for a connection in people
who never seemed to match your personality.
and so, you clung to the wrong ones who couldn’t
elevate your mind and allow you to grow emotionally,
mentally, and spiritually.
You didn’t know how to be strong and stand on your own.
You spent a lot of time seeking validation from others
who weren’t even qualified, who didn’t recognize
your potential.
You were losing yourself by trying to be a friend
to people who were only interested in themselves.
There were times when you would drive to the park
at night, sit in the car, and cry to yourself.
No one couldn’t see the tears trickling down your face,
how you just wanted it all to be over, how nothing
seemed to ever go right in your life, how the pain steady came
and drove you insane, how hard it was to walk
through life living in the shadows, how you were
consistently bullied in school, hurt beyond hurt,
heartbreaking, damaging, attempting to breakthrough.
You were going down.
You felt like a complete failure.
You wanted everyone to love and see you for you.
You wanted to show everyone that they didn’t have
to question your existence.
You were as real as it gets.
You could never do anyone wrong.
It took you a long time to understand that
you had to start living for you.
You had to be your own individual
and put yourself first,
that no matter who didn’t love you,
you loved yourself first and foremost.
You took back your power and learned
to inspire yourself from within.
You had to heal yourself from within
and face the greatest pain that tried
to rob you of your life.
You had to let go of the past
And forgive the people who hurt you the most.
You had to become reawakened to see that
you were chosen by the spiritual forces
to enlighten the world.
