I need to write;
To sully heavenly paper
with our beautiful words.
But with each stroke of our pen,
The ideas exit our mind;
Flying like a fallen leaf,
****** away by the river’s rapids.

What’s that literary device in the first paragraph? Anyone know? I certainly don’t. It’s not irony.
