Made my parents proud

shaped into a well made man

no foul deeds or criminal affiliations

got me a sound mind and rewarding education

travelled seeing far flung places and other cultures

loved beauties a trillion times and basked in true connections

helped my fellow humans when I could in sincerity and real care

held in the reciprocated blood love and esteem of siblings and family

more wins than losses in glory and grace of light and love above

in salient gratitude I see clasp and nurse crystal glass half full

so am I to be churlish and bemoan dismayed sheep

knowing they languish sadly downΒ Β the ladder

in the playground of disadvantages

where neon shines to mislead

as sheep lampoon in vain
