Long before I met Eireann
I was told that she was one
of the Mac Clan but it made
little sense to me as I had
never been to Ireland nor
was I ever expecting to go
there until that is, she put
something in my tea and I
woke in Waterville County
Kerry where the Atlantic
Ocean was blowing a Gael
force wind laden with what
she called sea seeds which
fall on the land fertilising the
grass that feeds the cows
and gives is Kerrygoldβ„’
was how she put it while
we sat on a bench near
the statue of **** O’Dwyer
under the cover of her Mac.
