As the years' pass by.
I still see the love I saw in you the first time.
The eyes, the smile, and sweet personality.

Even, a little attitude.
I must admit that probably what attracted me to you?
In truth, it probably was mine that appealed to you.

As the years' pass by and I sit and reflect back.
I still see the youth in you as our hair changes hue.
Dye it, never.
I thank God he placed us together.

Oh, there were a few obstacles that stood in our way.
But within time those obstacles called folks relations have faded away.
God has a way of handling problematic things.

As the years' pass by and tears rise in my eyes.
I can truly say to myself, I am one lucky guy.
To be loved faithfully by someone like you.
