I will never forget her
sweet little old Mary
she was an Irish hybrid
always walking about with her little dog

In the early mornings when I walked my dog
I would always see her with hers
in the cold crisp air
we would stand and chat

My dog was a little dog too
my ***** and her dog hit it off
they would play chase the tail
and be wagging away

Mary died four years ago now
her dog was given to her daughter
I know both are in good care
one with God and the other a new home to wear
