Hermit Crab (Evictions 2)
We outgrow our homes,
Moving on up, penthouse suites,
Or shopping cart roads
We fit in boxes
A shell of comforting walls
Apartmentalized
Rent to own abodes
Timeshare of lives all alone
The walls weβll outgrow
To stand on clean sand
The Beach on clear nights, star-filledβ
Soul outgrows the hand.
