How many times was I told off at school?
just gazing out of the window daydreaming
teachers would say Christos what's the answer
and boy I would be non plus

I giggle about it now
but it was not funny then
I was a very obedient child
never lackadaisical or wild

But forever in those days, I was gazing out of the window
looking at the sky and wondering why
these ****** teachers kept talking to you
I think my dyslexia got the better of me

Even now my handwriting is crass
this is why I type as my handwriting is trash
even when I am out and I feel a poem coming on
I want to get home so I can type it and not go wrong
