Look what they have done to Democracy
Look what and who they took from us
We have lost so much and gained anxiety
Toxic and tyrannical no news is good news
Yet we remain persistent
Derailed
Railroaded
Disconnected
Misconstrued
You can’t put a band-aid on what we continue dealing with
As we await a vaccine
As we await the results of an election that might very well be life changing
Look what they have done to souls and spirits
Waiting to accomplish and rise again
Until then we deal with change
