I thought about the times when we used
to walk down the shores of the beach,
admiring the bright, blossoming landscape,
our hands interconnected, swaying back and forth,
laughing, talking, thinking about our entire
lives together as we jubilantly ran through the
smooth, sparkling sand, singing about our love,
too happy to hold it inside, just wanting our hearts
to harmonize with each other and never let go
of these feelings that came in a moment
of the purest poetry that no one could ever imagine.
