We were locked down in hunger;
Left to survive in pain:
What do you expect?

We weren't considered afterwards...
Mandated to pay duties, out of the blue:
What do you expect?

We heard of the bill notes
That were meant to locate our accounts
Dancing through the fire unseen:
What do you expect?

We left the down unlocked
Still in the drama that caused us pain:
What do you expect?

A pacified beings or
An irate crowd?
The unexpected unlocked itself.
The poet declares the reason for the peaceful protesters who took to the streets to make their voice heard.
