She took my soul, my body remained,
My wandering mind went so insane,
The thoughts of where she was tonight,
Gave my imagination a fearful sight.

Her sumptuous taste, with lovely skin,
Her eyes so hidden, so deeply within,
The perfume of her feminine design,
Intoxicated my weary and rapid brain.

Soon mapped her body, so longed for her,
The devious beginnings began to stir,
A passion created from deep inside the earth,
In my imaginations began its birth.

Rang up her life, but no one was home,
Great God, am I now so very alone?
Walked past her flat, knew it was wrong,
What happened to our lover's song?

Poured countless nights with pen in hand,
How could her mind never understand?
The difficulty in a rebounding from pain,
While lingering longer in the pouring rain.

Tonight, my longing turned instantly to lust,
It's love almighty we no longer must trust,
If she found some such magical, new beau,
I'm cast adrift, this much I now must know.
