I Seem Impossible to Love.
Do not fear the bruises on my fingertips
I promise I will hold you gently, and,
cradle you in my arms.
Please don't worry for my temper,
I will control it all I can.
I do not want you to fear me;
I promise, I'm not that bad.
Don't fear my little problems,
I know I judge too much.
Don't let these little things
bother you, and make you go away.
Don't think about my insecurities,
or my fear to touch and to love,
don't worry about those things at all,
I'll try and push you above.
Don't be afraid of my madness,
I promise it only hurts me.
I will never let my sanities,
affect how you might be.
Please, don't fear the scratches on my wrists,
or the scars along my hips.
I wasn't built for stability,
but I'm finding that I, can be.
Don't worry about all these things,
don't fear what might just be,
Please just ignore all of my tendencies,
and just look to love me.
