Catch a beating heart and keep it in your pocket,
Keep it very safe and warm,
Never ever lock it,
Massage it well and keep it snug,

Wrap it up in velvet,
Treat it tenderly,
Then when you no longer need it,
You must set it free,

Give to your lover,
When he starts to melt,
Take his heart in return,
And wrap it up in felt.

Two darling hearts become entwined,
In body, and in mind,
A dream perchance,
That no greater love you'll ever find!
