For every poem
I wrote
But burnt down
For every song
I sang
But tore down
For every memory
We made
But thrown
For every kiss
We shared
But erased
For every touch
We had
But lost
For every day
We lived
But forgot
For every thing
You and I were
But never will be
I write to you
I write to you
So that this time
I don’t lose
Nor forget
Nor erase
Nor burn
Nor tear down
For you and I are
Stars made in the sky
Shining brighter
As I write to you
May my ink, like the never-ending night, carry our tales.
Like planets, turning around the same sun but never crossing paths
